Roller Coaster Of Emotions!

It was Rish's last day at work yesterday. I can tell that some people are ecstatic about it and a the rest just couldn't care less. I'm not going to specify my feelings about it here though. I'll just keep that between us SPG's and Dubs.

Dom is finally back. He's feeling much better now but still coughing. Alfie, however, seems to be a little unwell. I've noticed that many of my colleagues have the cough. It must be a virus thats going around. I hope it ends soon. I'm sick of coughing. I want to be completely healthy again! I want my normal voice back!

Amy finally brought har new CD mix. Jason Castro's 'Let's Just Fall In Love Again' was in it. I can't wait to take the CD home and download all my favourites. Cassy has is now. As soon as she's done, it'll be mine for a day.

I went to the British Council today to find out about studying English. It turns out that the courses they offer are mainly to improve your English. They don't really have anything solid like a degree in English or anything like that. I think I'll just have to stick with Form 6. After that, I'll think about it when the time comes.

Good, Better, Best...

I have a new phone!!! I'm ecstatic. I keepp picking it up and exploring eventhough I've done everything I can. I just love using it. I also bought my mom a new phone. It's a really good phone too. Overall I spent about half my monthly salary on 2 new phones. I'm not complaining though. I'm actually happy that I spent it on something I'll be using alot.

Anyway, as for work, thngs are slowly getting better. I've adopted an 'I'll-do-my-job-with-a-smile' attitude that helps me alot. I wont complain but at the same time I like to express my opinions. So, if I see anything worth speaking up for, I will and I wont give up till you accept your mistake or prove me wrong.

Oh well, that's all for now. I have to get ready for work. 'Put the smile on now!' :D

Issues..

I was on the closing shift last Thursday. While I was wiping the menus, I had a 'great debate' with Raja boss. We 'argued' about race, gender and age. I'm not going to outline word for word each of our arguments but I will say that we have completely different points of view on each topic. We were also very stubborn. Neither of us would back down or change our opinions. I actually enjoed it because it's been a while since I've debated with someone. I admitted to Raja that I was a feminist but at the same time, I acknowledge that not at women are good and the same goes for men. He's got a really bleak view on life but like I said we're both stubborn so I couldn't even come close to changing his mind.

Other than that, work has been kind of stressful. There's alot of things going on and I realised that I haven't been very patient. Therefore, today, I tried really hard to be extra patient with everyone. Thing's in the front has been alot more organised now but I cannot tell you why because I have no idea myself. Everyone has been working double time and things are running smoothly. The only glitch is in communications. There are still some issues there which I think everyone should really try to work out. Hopefully things get better tomorrow.

Off Day

Here's what I did;
*Woke up at 9am. Then went back to sleep.
*Woke up again at 10am.
*Did some housework.
*Watched TV. I can't remember what show so maybe the TV was watching me instead.
*Had lunch.
*Went online for a while.
*Chatted with friends.
*Slept again.
*Woke up and went shopping for provisions.
*Ate dinner.
*Went to the nearest mamak shop to hang out with friends.
*Now I'm online again.

Just now I got a text from June saying that she's still not well. She didn't go to work today either. I really hope she gets better, for her sake and the sake of my sanity. I have Nad with me the whole day which, let me tell you, is awesome and really very helpful but I need June's craziness too. I want to see her tomorrow so I hope she'll get better. I'm also looking forward to listening to Amy's new CD. It'll be great!

Gotta Be Good

My shifts this week is kind of okay but still not very good. I don't have any shifts with June and i don't get to see June for 2 more days. She was off to day and I'm off tomorrow. After that, Nadiah is off for two days. I really hope that it'll be a good week. Today business was really slow. In a way I guess it was good. Fu Wang and Olivia started as SPG's today and I had a lot of time to train them properly. I wont be there tomorrow so I hope June will help them out.

Other than that, work and life has been OK. I think I want to watch a movie tomorrow but I don't want to go alone but I don't know who to ask. A lot of people will be working so who do I go with??

Anyway, Amy is burning a new CD for tomorrow. She's got Jason Castro's new song which I totally love! I'll only hear it on Thursday though because I'm off tomorrow. :P

Missin' JUNE!

Junebug took MC again yesterday and she's most likely to be absent again today. Her stomach is giving her hell. Thanks to that, we missed our first closing together. If she's absent again today, it'll be exactly 3 days since I last saw her. This is not helping me work at all! I miss you JUNE!

Work has been ok so far. I had an argument with the RM but thats resolved. Other than that, the yesterday was quite uneventful. I lost my mood for working again because June wasn't there but thanks to a few people, I regained enough spirit to make it through the day with a smile on my face.

The converse guy is avoiding us now. I think we either scared him off or irritated him so much that he doesn't want to talk to us anymore. Cassy wrote to him asking if he's ok but we didn't get a reply. I hope he doesn't think badly of us. We're just keeping ourselves occupied and besides, he started it. :P

'What Do You Want?'

Work was fun again today. The only down side to it was that June had to take MC because she lost her voice. At least I get to spend time with her tomorrow because we're closing together! I went for break with some of the dubs today. It was fun and boring at the same time. Fun because I've never gone on break with them before and boring because all we did was eat and sit for a whole hour. I usually finish eating in twenty minutes. So for the rest of the hour, I just sat listening to them talk, which didn't bother me at all because, like I said, I'm an observer.

The converse guy from the store next door was looking at us, SPG's, the whole day. Everytime he walked by, he'd smile at us and vice versa. Later at night, he stood at the entrance of his store and just looked our way. Daisy wrote him a note on a piece of A4 paper asking what him what does he want with us. He saw it then ran back inside. As I was leaving, another dub helped us ask him face to face for his answer. Here's what we got; we want to know u. Haha! this feels so movie-like. The whole passing notes during work and slowly getting to know someone really makes me feel like we're filming a movie. It's so fun :D

Oh no!

As soon as I walked into work, people started asking me about my results. I tried to tell them without letting on how proud I am with it because I know that if they knew, they'd think me conceded. I felt kind of guilty too, because the others got 1-2 A's and alot of people tend to compare. I was congratulated and the others were consoled. That's not fair. They did well to and deserve a congratulations just as much as I do.

Anyway, I submitted my "Free Friday's food from Raja if I get more than 5A's" coupon today. Raja tried to con his way out of it though. Unfortunately for him, I'm not easy to con (not when it comes to food at least). When I finally got him to agree, I asked for a Friday's Sundae and he said he'd give me have of it on Friday and the rest on Sunday. To be honest, I doesn't matter to me if he buys me food or not. I just like bullying him. :D

I woke up in no mood to dress up at all so I just put on the easiest outfit I could find. When I walked into work, I say Daisy in a dress and I stopped in my tracks. I FORGOT ABOUT DRESS DAY! All the SPG's are suposed to wear a dress today. It's a tradition we're starting. We'll pick a theme for each Friday and dress up according to that theme. Trouble is, I forgot that today was Friday!. Since I started working, the days just go by without me knowing the exact date or day. From now on I'm setting and alarm to remind me to dress up each Friday. Next week, we're doing feathers!

Nad bought herself a new phone. It's really high tech and all. Definitely something she'd buy. I thought I wanted a new phone too but I realised, with the help of my brother and mother, that I love the phone I have eventhough it's slow and has a bad camera. I'll get ma a new phone though. She needs one because her current phone is going stir crazy.

Moving on to more important or rather pressing issues, I've decided to do form 6. This desicision is final. I'm going to form 6 and when i'm done, I'll try for a scholarship to study English overseas. If I don't get one, I'll go to UM and do it. I'm sure that writing I what I want to do. The main question now is what kind of writing? I don't know what options I have so that's what I'm going to explore. I need to find out about different writing careers and pick one that suits me best. I know I can write well but I also know that I have alot to learn. I need to improve my vocabulary and really master this language. I also have to learn how to structure better sentences. I can learn and I will. I just have to decide how and where.
